Anyone recognize this week’s Monday Cover skater? Anyone? Anyone? Well for those not in the know, it’s the one-and-only Lance Mountain having his way with the door at Pier Park. As the Sun sets in the western Montana sky, this week’s Monday Cover skater, Lance Mountain, finds a smooth line off the hip at the Treasure bowl. Lance tore it up all day during the 10 year anniversary of the bowl. The proof is in the pics, check ’em out after the turn.

Yep, it’s this week’s Monday Cover skater, Lance Mountain, going full frontal in the corner during this year’s Portland Dew Tour stop. Turning the dials of our way-back machine to 1985, we arrive at Del Mar Skaterpark on this week’s Yuri’s 80’s Re-Vert Fantasy Skate. It’s a classic bowl clash with many of the periods top skaters. This week’s Yuri’s 80’s Re-Vert Fantasy Skate stop takes us to Seattle, Washington and the NSI Gotcha Grind circa 1989. Even though massive spinning air tricks ruled the day, precision lip moves a la Groholski and Schroeder started to make their way into the skating main stream.
