Often while we were digging the hole that is now MC’s bowl, Mark would pose the question: “What song am I thinking of now?” On quite a few occasions the answer to that question was Break on Through by the Doors. It’s a place where we dug our treasures and now chase our pleasures. Now break on through to the other side of this post and check out some 3D cross-eyed pairs of MC’s bowl pour.
This week’s Monday Cover is a first. Why? Well, because the featured skater, Tommy Antonetti, is shredding the gnar with his shotcrete nozzle as opposed to a skateboard. Tommy and a contingent of some of the best bowl finishers on the planet converged upon MC’s bowl this Saturday to pour some ‘crete. Final assessment, they killed it. The cage in MC’s bowl is just about done thanks to the efforts of Team Rebar. Sure was a hot day but Shawn’s Old Germans kept the crew chugging along. Check out a few more snaps after the turn. The concrete dermis is very near.
