What time is it? Why it’s Dew-fecta time! Yep, it’s true, the Dew Tour and Oregon Trifecta have a love child and we’re calling it Dew-Fecta. Details related to the Dew Tour aspects of the event are a bit fuzzy but there’s no doubt that the Pier Park and West Linn stops will be full on skateboarding mayhem for the skate loving masses. Well, this week’s Monday Cover skater, Willis Kimbel, has direct ties by way of his father, O.G. Bad Lander and Bad Company Skateboards team rider, Curt Kimbel. One of the signs that Spring has arrived here in the Northwest is the return of Swami Saturday Sessions at Pier Park. The 2011 Trifecta buzz has begun and Pier Park is back in the mix along with Lincoln City and a yet-to-be-determined third location(how about Burnside). Committed to civic duty with a penchant for skateboarding, a title well deserved by this week’s Monday Cover skater, Steve Grover. The 4th annual Pier Park cleanup went down this weekend and Steve, along with Jack and Frances, came out to help. Their reward? A job well done and the opportunity to skate a great skatepark.
