The Northwest is rich in great concrete to skate and the prefect “petri dish” for a new wave of skaters. Case in point, this week’s Monday Cover skater, Carson Edwards, styling a nice backside air on the vert wall at Tigard. Hailing from Siletz, OR, Carson made his mark on this year’s Trifecta by taking 3rd in the Lincoln City Pro division and 5th at Tigard. Check out more pics of Carson getting his skate on after the turn.
Congratulations Carson!

The 2009 Pro-Tec Pool Party is in the bag and this week’s Monday Cover skater, Julie Kindstrand, took top honors in the ladies division. Julie shreds the gnar and she does it with style. Case in point, this smooth air off the hip during last year’s Lincoln City stop of the Oregon Trifecta. Check out a few more pics of Julie getting her shred on after the turn.
Congratulations Julie!
This week’s Monday Cover skater, Duane Peters, needs no introduction. There are few people who have had as much of an impact on skateboarders and skateboarding as Duane. Always the innovator and branded “The Master of Disaster”, we can thank Duane for sweepers, lay-back rollouts, invert-reverts and our all-time favorite indy air. We’re hoping this year’s Oregon Trifecta Pier Park stop will entice Duane and the Upland crew to make the trip. Check out few pics of Mr. Peters skating Lincoln City and Pier Park during the 2007 Trifecta after the turn.
Congratulations Duane!
It’s time, once again, for another Foto-Friday. This week, we travel North to Battle Ground for a mid-Winter session. Believe it or not, it’s difficult deciding which direction to head from Portland now that we have some great skate options: North to Battle Ground, South to Newberg, East to Hood River or West to Lincoln City. Bummer, huh? Oh well, somebody has to make the tough decisions. Check out all the pics in the gallery below.
