All Tucked Up

Monday Cover Vol. 2 Issue 43 - Rex Pearson

This week’s Monday Cover skater, Rex Pearson, gets seriously tucked-up on this frontside air. That’s one big air on one big wall at the Tigard stop of the 2008 Tifecta. Unfortunately, Rex took one for the team during the final heat of the day and didn’t get to skate the next day at the Battle Ground stop. There’s always next year and you can bet Rex will bring even bigger tricks to the show. See the full-frame image after the turn.

Congratulations Rex!

Holy Crap!

Holy Crap Banner

Sometimes the skating gets a little too close for comfort as displayed on this skater’s face during the Tigard stop of the 2008 Trifecta. Is that terror or awe in his face? Probably a lot of both. Check out the full image after the turn.

The heat didn’t let up during the Tigard stop of the 2008 Trifecta and neither did the skaters. Buck Smith took top honors in the Masters division due in part to stomping one off on T-Rex’s head. Check out the gallery for some pics from the Master’s event.

Battery to Damage Inc.

Metallica - Master of Puppets

The year was 1986 and this week’s YouTube Tuesday artist, Metallica, struck a chord with the skate community. Master of Puppets, their follow-up album to “Kill ‘Em All” and “Ride the Lightning” became an instant mainstay in any respectable skaters collection of music to shred to. Grab your Zorlac deck and check out all the cuts from the album after the turn. Master, master, master,……
