The heat has subsided a bit here in Portland so it’s time to get back to work on all those backyard skate projects. Pier Park and MC’s Bowl
If you haven’t checked it out already, be sure to stop by Nemo Design, 1875 SE Belmont, and take in all that is Mixed Mania, an art show to benefit the Burnside project. The show is up until the end of the month and 100% of all art sale proceeds go directly to Burnside skatepark. So what are you waiting for? Grab a friend, head over to Nemo and in the words of Ivan Insane “buy yourself some skate art.” Check out a few pics from the opening in the gallery.
If you are in Sacramento and looking to skate, be sure to hit-up Granite Skatepark. It’s more like a gem than a mineral. Geology joke, get it? Anyway, check out Miciah, John, Kenyon, Shawn F. and Shawn R. as they get their daily recommended allowance of skating. EPM “rock hammer” out!
