Indian summer is in full swing here in the Northwest and this week’s Monday Cover, Mark Conahan, took full advantage of the weather. Mark continues his love/hate relationship with the door in Pier pipe. This frontside air over the door is about as high as it gets yet the frontside carve over the same door still eludes him. Go figure? On the H.O.M.O.S. front, Mark achieved another milestone, his 500th comic. Amazing. Check out a few more shots of Mark after the turn.

MC is on fire. KPTV 12, our local Fox affiliate, did a segment on Mark Conahan and his skateboarding ways. The segment will air next Sunday, June 22nd at 11pm on KPTV 12, that’s Father’s Day. In the meantime, check out Mark’s recently released books:

In recognition and support of the Lincoln City Skatepark, we have created a t-shirt in honor of the recent snake run addition. All proceeds from the sales of these shirts go directly to offsetting costs related to the snake run. Dreamland and the local skaters have donated a lot of time, materials and money to make this snake run a reality. Support their efforts and buy a shirt or two. Our friend Bettina is one of the featured artists at Portland City Hall’s First Thursday show. That’s today, August 2nd at Portland City Hall, 1221 SW 4th. Show time is 5-8pm. There’s free food and drink, a mini-ramp out front and some great art by great artists.
