Tomorrow night, Friday May 21st, the Steven Reeves skate video trilogy becomes a reality with the premiere of Skirdoosh at Plan B. The follow-up to Bailgun and Mall Grab, Skirdoosh features the skating of Goon, “That Guy”, Boris Zbacham, Shawn Kilmer, and Kyle Bunker. All the action goes down at 9 p.m. so don’t be late. Check out a larger flier after the turn.
On this week’s Yuri’s 80’s Re-Vert Fantasy Skate, we rewind to 1979 and the legendary Marina Del Rey Skatepark for the Dog Bowl Pro. Gyro wheels and flowing lock filled flyaway helmets were all the rage. So snap on some copers and check out all the action after the turn.
Lights out and flashlights on. It’s time for your own personal rave on this week’s YouTube Tuesday with the Prodigy, Propellerheads and Babylon Zoo. Check out the body shaking, sweat infused with a pinch of skating video after the turn. EPM “now where the heck are those velvet pants” Out!
Like an old friend, this week’s Monday Cover skater, Mark Conahan, bonds with a pool of mid-century origins. For those of you wondering, that’s an atomic ranch andrecht over the light of the now defunct Bamboo Bowl. Sick, sick, sick.
Congratulations Mark!
