So what does a fifty year old skateboarder do on their birthday? Why, skate, of course. Case in point, this week’s Monday Cover skater, Mark Conahan, celebrated his 50th with a frontside invert at Pier Park. Woo hoo, put that in your skate longevity pipe and smoke it. Check out some more pics of Mark getting his mid-century shred on after the turn.
Congratulations Mark and happy birthday!

Good to see that FATHER TIME can’t keep up with your Mad Skateboarding Skills. Happy B-Day MC Remember, 5-0 is a trick, not a number!?!
Nice, happy birthday!

HappyB-day skate fag?
Nice inverts. The lens makes it look like you have weird flipper feet.
50 is the new 30! Thanks MC for still killing it!
30 years ago… we looked up to him, not just because of his ability, but he has an intellect and humor and talent and he was (mostly) always nice. I still look up to him. (and that’s the best trick I got! I’m like 2′ taller than him) Happy Birthday dude!
Most 50 year old skaters would be stoked to do a kickturn in that bowl.
Happy Birhtday Mark!
Happy belated birthday, an inspiration to us all!!
Hope your day was as legendary as you are! Happy Birthday!
