Get your grinder and some steel for this week’s installment of YouTube Tuesday. It’s time to explore some bands that fall under the broad catagory of industrial or at least have industrial influences. See if you can tell who influenced whom among this small sample set. Remember, a mind is a terrible thing to taste.
- Ensterzend Neubauten – Halber Mensch, Die Interimsliebenden
- Nine Inch Nails – Head Like a Hole, Wish
- Minsitry – Jesus Built My Hotrod, Stigmata
- Revolting Cocks – Stainless Steel Providers, Cattle Grind

Yeah JF. Good call on those bands. Throbbing Gristle is in there somewhere as well.
If there was any fairness in this world all Ministry fans would have mandatory exposure to the band’s first record “With Sympathy” (Arista 1983). Does Al Jorgenson even acknowledge that he made this record? This “I’ll act like it just didn’t happen so maybe it will cease to exist” type of career move may actually trump the Clash’s “Cut the Crap”. And ironically its the only Ministry album worth a fuck in my opinion.
