Observing a Super Bowl

Observatory Beach House on Earth Patrol

So you’ve been thinking about building a skate friendly domicile? Well, here’s one that just might fit the bill. Inspired by the 18th century Indian observatory Jantar Mantar, designer Gabriel Orozco in collaboration with architect Tatiana Bilbao, built the aptly named observatory beach house. In addtion to being a skate friendly design, the home integrates well with the natural surroundings. This concept brings to mind a community of bowl dwellers and their skateboarding lifestyles. If ever the opportunity arose to visit this home, count us in. Check out more photos and drawings after the turn. EPM “a super bowl in every house” Out!
