A fellow skater, Taylor Appelo, is in need of a little help from friends. Taylor was the victim of a brutal assault and beating at a MAX stop in Portland and sustained some very serious injuries As a result, he is dealing with some monster medical bills. So in an effort to raise some cash to help Taylor, the Department of Skateboarding is hosting a jam style bowl contest this Saturday, June 13th with 100% of the proceeds going directly to Taylor.
