Portland manages to attract its share of great bands including England’s Stereolab. When we arrived at the Wonder Ballroom, it was packed with appreciative fans even before the opening band, Monade, started their set. The mystery as to why so many people were interested in the opening act was quickly resolved when Lætitia Sadier saddled up to the mic, a bonus for Stereolab fans. Why? Well, Lætitia also fronts Stereolab. That explains why the singers of these two bands looked so similar. Anyway, the show was great and we managed to snap a few photos as well.
