To continue the theme of design/build/skate, check out three pics of Mike helping with the recent Gabriel Park inspection. We should count ourselves lucky here in the Northwest to have skatepark companies owned and operated by skaters. Makes for interesting and fun parks to skate. Check out the pics after the turn.

Ever pushing the limits, Kilwag and MC throw down some sick Little Tike action at an undisclosed location. MC raised the gnar factor by going padless. So sick!
What happens when you are surfing the coffee shops for wifi during the extra crappy weather here in Portland instead of skating? Why dorking around with tilt-shift blur techniques, of course, as inspired by MC and his collection of skatepark minitures.
Tim of the Area 702 Kreu sent us some photos of their new skate hanger aptly named Area 702. Top secret for now but come early July, you too can skate these alien artifacts. Yep, it turns out ET skates. So when you are in Las Vegas, be sure to stop by the Area 702 compound for a climate controlled session. Check out all the pics after the turn.
The crew at Airspeed did a little quality control testing at their Gabriel Park site. Check out Geth, Stephanie and Billy as they ride one of their creations. Design/build skateparks rule and don’t let anyone tell you different. Better yet, get a board and ride them. All the inspection photos after the turn….
Skateboarding, art and music, these are a few of our favorite things. Guess what? Jaymeer is hosting a benefit this Thursday for Marginal Way that includes all three of them and more. Get the low-down by clicking here or on the banner above. EPM out!
Just like the band Timbuk3, this week’s Monday Cover skater, Brogan Robinson, has “gotta wear shades.” We finally caught up with Brogan at Newberg where he lofted this styling frontside air. Check out a sequence and a few more pics of Brogan after the turn.
Congratulations Brogan!
MC is on fire. KPTV 12, our local Fox affiliate, did a segment on Mark Conahan and his skateboarding ways. The segment will air next Sunday, June 22nd at 11pm on KPTV 12, that’s Father’s Day. In the meantime, check out Mark’s recently released books:
They make a great gift for the skateboarders in your life.
Concrete is flowing at the Beaverton bowl. Mike Swim is working on the crew so you know the finish is going to be top notch. More pics of the progress after the turn.
That’s a little Creedence Clearwater Revival reference for you and an apropos one at that. The rain has ruled this Spring but that hasn’t stopped us from skating. Check out Ty, Tim, Steve, MC, Eric, Diego, Brad, Ben and more as they find some dry ‘crete.
