A palindrome it is not but for skaters in Southeast Portland, this week’s Monday Cover skater, Colin Sharp, has given the community a bit of skate solace. Like Theodore Roosevelt, Colin had a vision and found the means to make it happen. Unlike Theodore Roosevelt, Colin can snap a mean ollie. So in honor of Colin and all that he gives to the Portland skate community, a big thank you. Check out a few more pics of Colin about the Brooklyn Street skate spot after the turn.
Congratulations Colin!

Who cares about the ollie, someone stick a shirt on the guy in the background. This aint’ the Blue Oyster.
Does any one remember Callin On Colin, I do. GVK has copies of them. If anyone would like to hear this sweet mans voice. They are very soothing and smooth like his ollies.
Nice, had a blast skating there when I visited Portland this summer. Can’t wait to come back up there and skate again, easily my favorite thing I have skated in years!
And thanks to Colin and all involved that made it happen!
Double dutch shoulda been the cover!
