Area 702 Secret Hanger

Area 702 Kreu - Indoor Skatepark

Tim of the Area 702 Kreu sent us some photos of their new skate hanger aptly named Area 702. Top secret for now but come early July, you too can skate these alien artifacts. Yep, it turns out ET skates. So when you are in Las Vegas, be sure to stop by the Area 702 compound for a climate controlled session. Check out all the pics after the turn.

  • I lived in Vegas for a few months in ’96 and skated the long gone indoor park called “Planet Plywood” a few times. Fun spot. Heard someone got all torchy and arsoned the building. Lame.

Having A/C and a roof over your head is such a luxury when skating out here in the desert. Somebody needs spend a bunch of money that isn’t mine and build another indoor spot for us in Phoenix. The old Vans park was a total go during the summer (been gone since ’04). It’s been over 110 for the high for the last week and a half. 90 degrees before 8am.

That park looks sick and if/when I go back to visit Vegas I’ll look it up for sure.
