It’s all going down tonight. Chet Childress and Bryce Kanights go tag team on some art. In Bryce’s words:
Another week, another art show. Tonight, July, 2nd, Chet Childress and I are collaborating on “Organized Chaos” – an art/photo exhibit at the Hecklewood Gallery. A bit of my organized effort… his maximized chaos. Free PBR and old punk tunes. …drop on by if you get a chance to get out early. The show opening rolls from 7-10pm and runs through the end of July.
See you there,
.: BK

Ah, the irony of it all. This week’s Foto-Friday captures a few photo’s from The Seen of Change, a recent art show featuring some of skateboarding’s premier skate photographers. It all went down at the Artery and included the works of Grant Brittain, Jon Humphries, Joe Brook, Ryan Flynn and Bryce Kanights. Don’t despair if you missed the opening, the skate art gods have smiled and the show has been extended to May 30th. Check out the gallery along with a little video after the turn. EPM “two minutes later, skaters on film.”

Bryce meets Rice during last summer’s Gorge Games. BK tries to give Donovan a little wiggle room on the lip and Carl freezes the moment for posterity. Thanks again to Carl for flowing the great images. See the action after the turn.
The weather is perfect for a brew jay hunt. Word has it there’s a good chance a few might appear tonight at this location. Get more info on the flier after the turn.

Our first Monday Cover featured skater for 2008 is Bryce Kanights, a true lifer with respect to skateboarding. Slashing the shallows of Glenhaven is just one of the many skate related activites that consume Bryce’s time. He also heads up the Adidas skate team, is a proven world-class photographer and is co-founder of SkateDaily.net. With such a busy schedule, we’re hoping he can find some time to be a future guest on SessionThis!
