Summers, here in the Pacific Northwest, are the perfect time to grab your skate-pole and head out for a bit of relaxation. This week’s Monday Cover skater, Mark Conahan, knows a few good skatin’-holes for catching a bit air, including this quant little spot in Hermiston. Check out a few more pics of Mark reeling away the summer at great Northwest skate spots after the turn.
Congratulations Mark!
… when you can charge it! Oh yeah, this week’s Monday Cover skater, Kim Petersen, knows all about charging it. No matter the terrain, Kim’s “take no prisoners” approach is always in full affect. Need your session amped like Spinal Tap? Include Kim in the mix and you’re sure to reach 11. Check out more pics of Kim shredding it up after the turn.
Congratulations Kim!
Steve Grover, co-owner of Cold War Skateboards, is one of skateboarding’s goodwill ambassadors. During a recent session at Battle Ground, Steve met local skater, Emy, working on his axle stalls in the 12′ bowl. It’s rare these days to see a young skater pushing themselves in the deep. Steve was so stoked he made a deal with Emy: make three, back-to-back, axle stalls in a single run and the prize is a new deck. Well, long-story-short, Emy is sporting a brand new Cold War deck. See larger versions of the above photos after the turn….
