It’s Groundhog’s Day! What better way to celebrate the midpoint of the Winter season than with furry little burrowing creatures. That brings us to our featured Monday Cover skater, Shawn Reinert, skating some weather impervious terrain up at Windells. Need a reprieve from the weather? You’re in luck, Windells is starting weekend sessions at B.O.B. (Building Out Back). Bring a 10 spot and get your skate on every Friday (5-11pm) and Saturday (9am-5pm).
Also if your looking for something to do over the holiday break, Windells is offering a Holiday Skate/Snowboard/Ski Camp. Get all the details in the fliers after the turn. See you there.
The gents over at Bacon Skateboards donated 30 complete decks to Windells for this year’s batch of skate campers. Campers will have free access to these boards during their stay at the camp. How cool is that?
