Wild in the Streets

Cal Skate Jam - Sixth Ave. Street Fair

The gents down at Cal Skates took it to the streets. As part of the 6th Avenue Street Fair, Paul, Damon and Tyler made some sick ramps for folks to skate during the festivities. We have a load of pics to look through and promise to get them up by this weekend. In the meantime, enjoy a few pics of the Cal Skate crew shreddin’ after the turn.

  • Actually Damon Ayers was in charge of the ramps, with assistance from Ryan Burns (log ramps) and Eric Wilson (crazy tile). Tyler painted the two little tight ones and Ryan Bodiroga painted the quarterpipe to slant wall. Dan Ness provided the flatbar. I did absolutely nothing other than help haul the ramps and make sure everybody’s invoices were in order. Special thanks also goes out to Brennan from Vans who was cooking hotdogs all night. Awesome pics man, thanks again. I can’t wait to see the pics of people that were actually ripping.

  • Nice modesty Paul. We know you were ripping, we could have used you to show up that Bacon kid who was killing my mini ramp while the show was going on downtown.

  • Man, wish I lived in Portland. I would love to skate those ramps.
