It’s time for some musical comparative analysis on this week’s YouTube Tuesday by way of bands that cover other artists songs. In some cases, the cover is more widely known than the original. So what does a fifty year old skateboarder do on their birthday? Why, skate, of course. Case in point, this week’s Monday Cover skater, Mark Conahan, celebrated his 50th with a frontside invert at Pier Park. Woo hoo, put that in your skate longevity pipe and smoke it. The BCSA is gearing up for it’s fourth annual art and music benefit and is looking for some artful donations to support their cause, raising funds for a new bowl at the Corvallis skatepark. Heading up Team Lifeblood, Bryce, does his latest skate venture proud. Skaters be sure to keep an eye out for the Lifeblood Mobile this summer.
