Bombs Away!

Monday Cover Vol. 4 Issue 40 - Bucky Lasek

Who’s got a big bowl? Well, this week’s Monday Cover skater, Bucky Lasek, has a big bowl and it shows. That’s one massive lien air. Pier Park Skate Park UFO Mystery Solved

Folks stared in amazement at what appeared to be a UFO over Pier Park skate park. You could hear people shouting “no way” and “wooha” as the object passed over head. Fortunately, we were there with camera in tow and snapped a few pics. After hours in the lab and searching frame-by-frame through the images, we were able to solve the mystery. Department of Skateboarding Closing - Last Day to Skate: Aug. 15, 2010

If you’ve been delaying that trip to the Department of Skateboarding for a session, you might want to consider hitting it up either today, Saturday, or tomorrow, Sunday. Why? Well, the doors will be closed for good on Monday August 16th and the last day to skate will be Sunday August 15th. So what are you waiting for? Deathbowl to Downtown - Movie in the Park @ Glenhaven Skate Park

Why? Well, the popcorn is free and food vendors will be on location as well. What? Really? Yep, no kidding, Portland Parks and Recreation has just the thing for the skateboard loving, movie going folks, a screening of Deathbowl to Downtown at the Glenhaven Skate Park this Friday, August 13th. Be sure to get there early for a pre-movie shred along with some entertainment provided by the (PETA approved) Cat Jugglers. Check out all the details on the flier after the turn. Fresno to Pier Park on Earth Patrol

Like the title says, we have some Fresno pool skating for you as well as some shredding at skate parks up the I-5 corridor, final destination Pier Park. KC and Lage were kind enough to share their videos over on the Earth Patrol Network of their backyard adventures and skate park exploits.
