All Stood Still

Foto-Friday for December 11, 2009 @ Newberg

It’s amazing what a difference a week makes with respect to weather. Last week’s session at Newberg, albeit chilly, didn’t require much more than a jacket. It’s a whole different story this week with temperatures well below freezing. You better have some serious layering action going if you’re looking to session out in the open-air. Check out some pics from last week’s relatively balmy session at Newberg in the gallery. EPM “Sleepwalking” Out!

Thinking Warm Thoughts

Casey goes to Canada and New Mexico

Alright, it’s flippin’ freezing. Check that, it’s beyond freezing. Currently it’s 23 degrees and sunny here in Portland. It’s the perfect time for a warm climate skate-cation. Speaking of which, check out a couple of Casey’s recent skate-cations over on the Earth Patrol Network. EPM “layered up and ready to roll” out!

Have Donut Will Roll

Donut Jack @ Newberg

Tough choices require creative solutions. Case in point, the opportunity to eat a donut or to skate a great park like Newberg. Jack’s solution, eat while you skate and share along the way. Sure is tough being a kid sometimes. Check out more glazed donut action after the turn.

Mid-Centenarian Skate Punks Rule

Monday Cover Vol. 4 Issue 4 - Randy Katen

That’s a mouth full as well as a little word play on the Generation X song “One Hundred Punks Rule.” It’s all tied together by this week’s Monday Cover skater, Randy Katen. In addition to commanding the lip with super styling frontside snap-back grinds, Randy commands the punk airwaves in Missoula with his biweekly show Generation X on KGBA, University of Montana Radio. So how does mid-centenarian relate to all of this? Well, Randy celebrates his 50th birthday in t-minus 8 days. Check out more pics of an original N-Man after the turn.

Congratulations Randy and here’s to another 50 years of shredding!

Municipal Waste
