What’s the Capital of Montana?

Helena Skatepark - Helena, Montana

If you answered Helena, give yourself one geography point. As part of our whirlwind tour to Montana, we sampled the recently completed Dreamland creation/modifications to the Helena skatepark. The park is well worth the visit with it’s varied terrain that includes a large street flow section, a doughnut bowl and a large three-bowl with a cool loveseat hip. Duh-Bowl Trouble

Port Angeles and Forks, WA Bowl Contest - September 2009

Alright, here’s your chance to skate a couple of super fun skateparks along with 600 reasons, we’re talking $600 cash. The folks from Lib Tech are hosting a two day bowl contest starting at Port Angeles on Saturday, September 19th and wrapping up in Forks on Sunday, September 20th. Cal Skates is celebrating 33 and 1/3 years of selling skateboards by hosting a BBQ at Pier Park on Saturday, September 19 @ 1 pm. Straight Legs

Monday Cover Vol. 3 Issue 43 - Sky Siljeg

This week’s Monday Cover skater, Sky Siljeg, stretches out a nice straight leg frontside air for the crowd at Pier Park. Sky has style for miles and it’s great seeing him progress up through the ranks. He took 4th place on this day but something tells us it’s only a matter of time before he’s consistently taking the top spots.
