Mixed and Stacked by Hand

First Pour @ Tristen’s Bowl

The first pours in Tristen’s bowl are complete. It took 6 hours of mixing and a total of 13 hours to get these three sections poured. That’s some pretty serious stoke to mix and hand stack a project of that size. Word has it that the corner pockets are due to be poured this weekend. Check out more pics of Tristen’s first pour over on the Earth Patrol Network.

Have Rubber Suit Will Terrorize

Toho Studios Monster Movies Rule!

This just in. Tokyo is under attack! Not really but it is a common theme in movies like Monster Zero, King Kong Escapes, War of the Garganutians and the list goes on. Many an afternoon was spent suspending reality while the likes of Tokyo and New York City were laid waste by rubberized behemoths. What can you say other than these films rule! A huge domo arigato to the folks at Toho Studios for all their creativity and humor. Check out all the movie trailers on this special edition of YouTube Tuesday after the turn.

Treading Well

Monday Cover Vol. 3 Issue 35 - Chip Treadwell

The words “tread lightly” are stamped in the concrete at Ed Benedict. This week’s Monday Cover skater not only treads lightly but he treads well. Who is it? Why it’s none other than BK’s doppelganger, Chip Treadwell. In addition to shredding the gnar with moves like this ollie-180 over a rock gap, Chip has impeccable taste in t-shirts. Check out more pics of Chip killing it after the turn.

Congratulations Chip!

It’s square, with a slide, a light, ladder step cut-outs in the deep, steps in the shallow and a death box for your grinding pleasure. Interested parties can give our resident real-a-skate agent, Catherine Coulon, a jingle for showings. Serious inquiries only. Check out MC’s two-hits-and-out session after the turn.

Independence Day

Depth Marker Shallow @ MC’s Bowl

We thought the depth marker in the shallow of MC’s soon-to-be finished kidney was an appropriate image for the day. Happy 4th of July everyone. See this photo and another shot of the shallow after the turn.
