This week’s Monday Cover skater, Paul Fujita, takes full advantage of good weather during his day off. The bioswale gap at Ed Benedict was no match for the original trickster and his lofty ollies. Check out more pics of Paul going full-Fujita on the park after the turn.

Congratulations Paul!

Monday Cover Vol. 3 Issue 17 - Nick Yamasato

Sometimes an image encapsulates the essence of skateboarding. Case in point, this week’s Monday Cover skater, Nick Yamasato, flowing the hip during the Battle Ground stop of the 2008 Trifecta. Hailing from the home state of our new commander-in-chief, Hawaii, Nick shreds the rad for Hurley. See more pics of Nick after the turn.

Congratulations Nick!

Thanks to BK for the 411.

Hood River Roof

Not only does it keep the weather at bay, it’s photogenic. What is it? Why, it’s the recently erected roof at the Hood River skatepark. So knotty. Check out some of Carl’s photos over on the Earth Patrol Network for a better view. EPM out!

Gearing Up

Foto-Friday on EPM: Battle Ground, Washington

It’s time, once again, for another Foto-Friday. This week, we travel North to Battle Ground for a mid-Winter session. Believe it or not, it’s difficult deciding which direction to head from Portland now that we have some great skate options: North to Battle Ground, South to Newberg, East to Hood River or West to Lincoln City. Bummer, huh? Oh well, somebody has to make the tough decisions. Check out all the pics in the gallery below.
