Ripping Holmes

Monday Cover Vol. 2 Issue 40 - Kevin Kowalski

The level of skating at this year’s Trifecta was exceptional and this week’s Monday Cover was one of the dudes stepping it up, Kevin Kowalski. Doing Team Bacon proud, Kevin placed in the top three at each of the events. If you were there, you know why; he killed it. Check out some more pics of Kevin at Battle Ground after the turn. Also, hats off to Hurley and the Trifecta crew for smooth running events along with laying down the prize money.

Congratulations Kevin!

Tigard - Julie, Buck and Daniel

In contrast to the cool weather in Lincoln City, Tigard was a steamy hot bowl of skateboarding. Top honors in each division included: Julie Kindstrand in the Ladies, Buck Smith in the Masters, and Daniel Cardone in the Pro/Am. Check out the winners and more after the turn. Stay tuned for more coverage of the Tigard stop in future posts. EPM Out.

Disfecta – Pier Out, Tigard In

Disfecta - Pier Out, Tigard In

It seems Pier Park is being left out of the mix for this year’s Trifecta stops. Based on folks positive feedback from last year’s event, it seemed like Pier would be on-lock as a repeat venue. Not to be. This year’s second stop is the ever popular jurassic Tigard Skatepark. Wonder if we will see B.K.’s idea of a kiddie pool full of water on that volcano to spice things up a bit?

Sure will miss Serge floating those massive airs above the lip at Pier Park. Check out a few 3D pics of the pipe and mouse hole after the turn.

Back in the Mix

Grover - Back in the Mix

He’s back. It’s been six weeks since Grover broke his shoulder at Lincoln City and it seems to be healed. So what does one do while they are on the mend? The answer to that question and more after the turn. Welcome back Big Baby.

Cavemen and Dinosaurs

Monday Cover Vol. 2 Issue 39 - Larry Martin

This week’s Monday Cover skater, Larry Martin, hails from Grants Pass, Oregon, home of the cavemen. How poetic is that? Larry, from the home of the cavemen, skating at Tigard, home of the T-Rex. OK, so it’s a bit of a stretch but we found it amusing even though dinosaurs and humans walked the earth many millions of years apart. Check out more pics of Larry shredding at Tigard after the turn.

Congratulations Larry!
