Out Like A Lion

Monday Cover Vol. 2 Issue 20 - Kevin Kowalski

March went out like a lion with respect to the weather here in Oregon. Speaking of lions, check out the mane on this week’s Monday Cover skater, Kevin Kowalski, as he gets stale in the snake pit. To reuse a phrase, call the doctor ’cause Kevin and the snake are both SICK!!! Be sure to check out the bonus sequences of Kevin as well.

Congratulations Kevin!

Marek in Wonderland

Marek in Mini-Bowl

We’re not sure if he took the red pill or the blue pill? Things seem to be out of proportion though. Check out more pics of Marek shredding this mystery bowl after the turn. Hmmm, wonder where that thing is?

More Than Coping

This is about as smooth as it gets. Kevin Kowalski checks the coping on the latest Dreamland creation in Lincoln City. Click on the link below to see the full sequence:

Home Sweet Home

Monday Cover Vol. 2 Issue 19 - Justin

Give it up for this week’s Monday Cover skater, Justin. Like the rest of the Lincoln City crew, Justin tears it up. Does anyone else see a resemblance to a young Mike V.? Check out another pic of Justin after the turn.

Congratulations Justin!

Gnarliest Park on the Planet

Lincoln City Snake Run Banner

When Dreamland built phase one of the Lincoln City Skatepark, it was deemed the Gnarliest Park in America by Thrasher Magazine. Eight years and three more phases later, the park has graduated to the Gnarliest Park on the Planet. It’s hard to comprehend the gnar-factor of the snakerun until you experience it. Check out a few pics from yesterday’s session after the turn and stay tuned for more coverage over the next few weeks.

Pipe, Peanut and Shell

Pier Park, Glenhaven and Holly Farm using Google Maps

The first three skateparks in Portland’s nineteen park plan are on the map, literally. The folks over at Google Maps have updated their satellite view of Portland that includes the finished parks. Take a little tour by clicking on the links below:

Get Busy Living

MC - FS Invert @ Battle Ground

Aren’t you a little old to be riding a skateboard? Simple answer: Nope. Stomp out ageism or in the case of MC invert it out (click on the picture for a larger view).

Like the line from Shawshank Redemption: Get busy living, or get busy dying. EPM Out!

Green Day

Monday Cover Vol. 2 Issue 18 - Steve Grover and Mark Conahan

It’s a Monday Cover first, two skaters on one cover. Check out these synchronized inverts by EPM favorites, Grover and MC. You might remember some similar antics from a past Pier Park session or that Steve was last year’s St. Patrick’s Day Monday Cover. See a larger version of the image after the turn.

Congratulations Steve and Mark!
