August First Thursday has come and gone but it’s not too late to check out Altered Skates at The Life gallery; a group show with a wide range of art related to skateboarders and skateboarding. Some of the artists include Jesse Reno, Caveman, The Colonel, Paul Fujita, Daymon Ayres, Ryan Bodiroga, Tyler Cole and many more. I submitted a few 3D lenticular photographs to the mix as well, see images above. The installation is open for viewing during the following times: Fridays(noon-5pm) and Sundays(1pm-5pm) at The Life Gallery, 625 NW Everett Street #107, Portland, OR, phone: 971.544.1365.

The official opening for Gabriel Park Skatepark is this coming Friday, July 11th at 1:30 pm. The park is located at SW 45th and Nevada. We’ll see you at the park on Friday. If you have the eye skills, feel free to plan your lines before opening day using the 3D image above. Click on the image for a larger view.

Flowing formations located in the Pacific Northwest are causing quite a stir in the skateboarding community. Early images just back from autonomous probe, Heated Session I, seem to confirm the presence of, what some are calling, “the best concrete ever!” Click on the image above to get a larger 3D view of the site designated, Newberg.

Our sixth stop on Buy Nothing, Skate Everything day was Glenhaven. This park is usually hopping with activity and this day was no different. Local shredder, Skreech, was in attendance and decided to join the crew for the remainder of the tour. See some 3D views of Glenhaven after the turn….

Vancouver skate park was the final stop in Washington before heading to Oregon on Buy Nothing, Skate Everything day. Hopefully your eyes are getting better at seeing these things in 3D. See the pics after the turn….
It’s time to cross your eyes again for another skate park in 3D. Our third stop on Buy Nothing, Skate Everything day was in Battle Ground. The sun was doing it’s job liberating the frost covered concrete and we obliged by skating for more than 45 minutes. See a cradle in 3D after the turn….
